James Leaver appears to have come to Berkshire and the Maidenhead area from Moulsford, Oxfordshire. This comes from Reverend Whately's Book, where he lists James as "coming to Stubbings Farm in 1766." - IGI Results

The name of West is an area for investigation: we still don't know where Thomas and Mary West came from, who were the parents of Ann Maria West and Mary Elizabeth West. Both the West girls were born Great Marlow and were both later to marry James Leaver's grandson Jonathan Leaver.
