An initial search of parish records did not find any indication that Hopkin had been baptised.
NB. Hopkin's father was called William Harries, taken from the marriage records.Visit to Swansea, along with the full information from census records, to track down his date of birth.
- Date of Death
Hopkin dies at Cross Hands, 20th December 1900 and is probably buried nearby.Visit area to find his grave. Nothing found on a visit in August 2002.

Witness on Hopkin's death certificate, listed as son-in-law.
