    Thomas Treharne

  • Thomas Who?
At his death in 1900, Hopkin is living at Rose Villa in Cross Hands, now a small village at the end of the M4 motorway, and just 5 miles from Llannon.

Hopkin dies here at the given age of 84 from the "debility" of old age. The witness listed on the death certificate is one Thomas Treharne, son-in-law, living at the Gwendraeth Arms near Llannon.

Research is now under way to discover exactly who is Thomas Treharne and to find out how he is related to Hopkin.
